II. Romanian Solana Colosseum Hackathon Kicks Off!
The Romanian Solana Colosseum Hackathon, organized by Comets of Web3 begins this April all the way through May, bringing together more than 20 Romanian teams to turn bold ideas into reality. We're building DeFi, infra, consumer apps, and more while teaming up with Solana Romania, and Superteam Balkan.

III. Solana Romania Superteam Balkan Grants
Since December 2024, the Solana Romania Superteam Balkan Grants, powered by Comets of Web3 with support from Superteam Balkan and Solana Romania—have funded $13,000 in Romanian and Moldavian Solana projects!
Huge thanks to Daiana Marculescu, Marko Djurdjevic, 0x1Dad, and the team for making this happen!
The funded projects are:
- Haskell SDK for Solana – A type-safe JSON-RPC library. 🔗 GitHub
- IluminaryAI x Solana – AI-powered wallet for smarter DeFi. 🔗 Project
- Quantum Agentic Assets – Quantum-resistant vaults & NFTs by Alexandergreydt

IV. Comets of Web3 at Build21
Daiana Marculescu, will be speaking at a Build21 panel on 2nd of April at 6:00 PM! She’ll join an incredible panel discussion on how to break into blockchain, and shift your career, alongside Andreea Stefan, and Catrinel Dumitru.

V. First Co-Hack with Solana Romania began last Friday!
More than 20 builders joined us on the Co-Hack organized by our frens from Solana Romania on 21st of March. We met with Andreea Preda, Darius Galu, Alexander Grey and Dan Dogaru - devs that are currently participating in our 3rd Cohort of the First Romanian Solana Developer Program, and Alexandru Enciulescu from Cohort 2.

I. Meet Andreea Preda, one of our amazing participants at First Romanian Solana Developer Program, Cohort 3. She is a skilled analyst and Web3 builder with a strong background in cybersecurity and business development, from companies such as Infosys and Secureworks.

"tip: do not do this
creating content for the sake of creating content or getting followers always results in slop
i) do not tweet for its own sake, have something worth saying
the way to have something worth saying is to have done the work and built up interesting thoughts and knowledge — generally through being a founder but also a domain expert. The only exception is comedy/sh*tposting
ii) number of followers does not matter nearly as much as number of quality followers
iii) reply to interesting people
iv) do not think about creating, reframe it as making observations out loud
v) do not be a p***y, say the things that are true without fear of random people on the internet
vi) get over yourself, no one really cares what you say, and will forget it within 24h max
vii) see i), do not say sh*t just to say sh*t, have sh*t worth sayin"
