1 Idea From Others
David Phelps on the battle between the big blockchain technical stacks:
The @cosmos roadmap has won, and it's won in no small part thanks to @CelestiaOrg team. These days, the trilemma has really become a dilemma of sovereignty vs. composability. (I'm forgoing the usual framing of scalability vs. composability because either side could claim greater scalability as they define it). On the one side is the Cosmos modular vision of sovereignty: everyone has their own chain they can customize to their needs, like opt-in nations. On the other side is the @solana monolithic vision of composability: one chain solves every interoperability challenge between users in the network.
Ethereum has, clearly, taken up the Cosmos vision to enable a modular world of app-chains. That makes Solana even more valuable as a monolithic alternative—if you are bullish on Ethereum, that is a very good reason to also be bullish on Solana. But as @aeyakovenko explained at @modular_summit, Solana's major innovations around fraud proofs all built directly on the work of the @CelestiaOrg team in advancing the modular vision. Cosmos is at the heart of all major crypto projects right now.
