1. 🚀 Big News: Comets of Web3 x Sui Foundation are launching the First Sui Developer Cohorts in Romania!
We’re thrilled to officially kick off the Sui Romanian Developer Program, a collaboration between Comets of Web3 and the Sui Foundation aimed at empowering the next wave of Web3 builders in Romania.
Learn the fundamentals of the Sui tech stack and the Move programming language, and get hands-on experience by writing and deploying your very first Sui smart contract. This in-person program includes two lightweighted half-day sessions in Bucharest, led by experienced Romanian Sui trainers. Demand for 'web3' professionals is mixed. Some disciplines are doing extremely well others, not so much. Make no mistake, there are still plenty of talented people struggling to secure a good opportunity - particularly at C-level.
They know they can do the job - they meet the criteria yet, for months, they feel like they're getting nowhere.
Yes the web3 job market is super competitive, but not all candidates optimize themselves for success.
Below are 4 simple tips to help win 'the game':
- Poor resume, no interview. Remember the interviewer probably doesn't know you and they've a busy schedule. To ensure you set yourself for interview success make sure you frame basic duties as achievements on your resume.
- Practice Behavioural Interview Questions. Get a list of behavioural interview questions and start practice answering them.Answer them using the STAR technique.
- Highlight Your Portfolio. Build in public - it's an open source industry. Whether it's a github or behance, hiring managers wanna see proof of work. An active portfolio will significantly help your job search.
- People Search. Remember your best recruiter is you. If you see a job advertised, the first question you should ask yourself is 'who can help me get ahead?’ Don't wait for somebody to reach out to you - ask for help.
