☄️ 3-2-1: A Night in Budapest, an Open Invite, and Why AI Needs a Wallet

Happy Wednesday, COMETS!

This is the newsletter of Central and Eastern Europe's largest blockchain builders community and goes to 7,000+ builders across the region and beyond.

3 News From Us

1. Budapest, You Delivered

On 27th June we brought the COMETS community together in Budapest for an evening on how blockchain and AI is reshaping the way we build. It was an intimate room of people who came to talk, and the conversations ran from the first talk straight through to the last goodbye at the door.

Jamie Murphy opened the talks on getting products seen and cited correctly by AI engines, drawing on the AI mirror he built for his own app, StillMind. People had plenty to ask. Gergely Dszida took us through digital product passports and the work behind trace.market. Then the floor went to the builders themselves, who stood up to show what they are working on, and the exchange that followed was the real thing: people challenging each other, no filler.

Thank you to the speakers, and to everyone who showed up and stayed in it. Sometimes the smaller rooms are where the best conversations happen!

2. Relive the Night in Our Event Gallery

Every COMETS event lives on in our gallery, and Budapest is no exception. Browse the photos, find yourself in the room, and share the moments that stood out to you.

Tag us when you do, we love seeing the night through your eyes!

3. Let's Build the Next One Together

Some of our best events started as a message from a team who wanted to make something happen in their city. If you are a startup, a protocol, a community, or a company anywhere across the region, and you want to put on an event with COMETS, we want to hear from you.

You bring the local scene and the idea, we bring the format, the network, and everything we have learned running builders meetups across Europe. Let's find the right city and build it together.

2 Builders like you

Jamie Murphy is a senior product manager and AI-first builder who shipped StillMind, an AI meditation journal. In Budapest he broke down a problem every small team is starting to feel: how products get found, cited, or misread by AI engines, and what it takes to stay visible when the machines are the ones reading.

Gergely Dszida is building trace.market, working on digital product passports and what verifiable provenance looks like on-chain. He presented in Budapest and showed the room a problem most people have not thought hard about yet, and why it matters more each year.

1 Idea From Others

Brian Armstrong, co-founder and CEO of Coinbase, shared this thoughts on why AI agents will need crypto:

"Every AI agent deserves a crypto wallet. In fact, there will be more AI agents transacting online than humans very soon."

This is the conversation Budapest was built around, and it is only getting louder.
